Senior Test Automation Engineer

Experience : 7+ years in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation frameworks and frontend testing.

Role And Responsibilities

• Test Automation Strategy : Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies aligned with product objectives and user expectations.
• Framework Design and Maintenance : Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks for UI and API testing using tools like Playwright. Ensure ease of use, performance, and adaptability for cross-project needs.
• Regression and Integration Testing : Develop and manage automated test suites for regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing to ensure application quality across multiple environments and configurations.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging : Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs in collaboration with developers. Provide clear documentation and reproducible test cases for defect tracking.
• CI / CD Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket build pipeline to enable faster and safer deployments.
• Technical Leadership : Lead QA best practices, perform peer reviews of test code, and actively participate in architectural and sprint planning discussions. Stay updated on emerging automated testing technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• AI Tooling : Explore and utilize AI-assisted tools for test case generation, defect prediction, and analysis to improve efficiency and accuracy.
