About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack (.NET, Azure) and proven experience supporting US Healthcare domain applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of production systems, collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to maintain seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 / L3 production support for applications built using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Monitor production systems to ensure high availability, stability, and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application and infrastructure issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, DevOps) for incident resolution, patch management, and release activities.
- Identify and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents and improve system reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Support deployment activities, hotfixes, and upgrades in production environments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for production support processes, known issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and healthcare data security standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and performance optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
6–12 years of experience in Production Support or Application Support Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with :.NET Framework / Core (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC)Azure Cloud Services – App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Application Insights, and related components.Good understanding of US Healthcare domain concepts – EHR, Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, or Payment systems.Proven experience in application monitoring, incident management, and performance tuning.Experience with incident / ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy.Familiarity with SQL Server and ability to analyze queries and stored procedures.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across global teams.Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Good-to-Have Skills
Exposure to Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, or automation tools for support tasks.Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, or Dynatrace.Knowledge of API integrations, microservices, and containerized deployments (Docker / Kubernetes).Experience in production support within regulated environments (HIPAA-compliant systems).Requirements
