The Partner Manager resides within the Partner Alliances team and interacts directly with the Technology Partners and many WWT teams : Sales / Account Managers, Global Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Sales Operations, Professional Services and Consulting.
The Partner Manager will manage strategic technology partners, vertical markets and partner programs that is consistent with the WWT go-to-market strategy in India.
This person will work closely with the WWT Sales and Global Engineering teams in order drive the awareness, enablement, growth, and profitability of the assigned partner's solutions. Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role as well as the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities of the Partner Manager :
Overall strategy, short / long term goals and commitments for the fiscal targets
Establish / Maintain top level relationships with the Partner and OEM ecosystem
Build rapport with Partner leadership teams
Build awareness of WWT capabilities and direction
Deep understanding of partner tiering requirements
Knowledgeable on all competency and certification programs
Ensuring tracking to goals and exceeding expectations
Continuous collaboration with the Global Engineering, Business Development Operations, and Corporate Marketing teams
Understand and communicate overall requirements & expectations of Partner (OKRs, KPIs, Metrics, Key Activities, etc)
Track measurable numbers (revenue, costs, budgets, payments, distribution)
Coordinate and host cadence calls for overall internal / external teams
Develop an understanding of our competitive market positioning and WWT's go-to-market strategy
Take lead role in executing against all required initiatives of the Partner Alliances Team including :
WWT Sales Enablement
Partner Business Plan & Execution
Partner Field Sales Enablement
Strategic Account Planning
Channel Manager Relationship
Marketing Strategy & Brand Awareness
WWT Platform Content & Go-to-Market Messaging
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's or higher degree or equivalent experience
Previous successful partner management experience with a Technology company or Technology channel partner company (strongly desired)
Strong Executive relationship building skills
Ability to directly impact and grow the technology business across the sales divisions
Minimum 5 years of sales or business experience within the technology field
Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Strong program management skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects / partners
Ability to work under uncertainty and incomplete data sets
Willingness to travel 25% of the time
