Come work at a place where innovation and teamwork come together to support the most exciting missions in the world About Us : At Qualys, we're on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Subject Matter Expert in Container and Cloud Security Engineering. If you're a tech-savvy storyteller with a passion for securing Modern Cloud and Container services, we want you on our dynamic product and SME Team. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where your expertise will shape the future of Qualys Container and Cloud Security Products, ensuring they are deployed and thriving for thousands of enterprise customers worldwide. Responsibilities : As a seasoned SME, your role will encompass customer and sales enablement, acting as a trusted advisor and evangelist for Qualys Container and Cloud Security products. Your hands-on experience in the AppSec domain, coupled with a deep understanding of Container and Cloud Service Providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP, will be crucial in driving success. Key Responsibilities : Subject Matter Expertise : Demonstrate profound expertise in Container and Cloud Security and related areas. Customer Enablement : Be the voice of customers, delivering value-centric demos, and advising on best practices for deployment. Technical Support : Collaborate proactively with support and engineering teams to resolve issues, troubleshoot design and deployment challenges. Sales Support : Assist the sales team in responding to RFP / RFI, drive customer Beta and POC engagement, and ensure success. Content Development : Create targeted technical content, including pitch decks, use cases, demo videos, feature blogs, and solution briefs. Training : Deliver sales and partner training with impeccable content, keeping the team updated on the latest features and capabilities. Competitive Intelligence : Analyze the competitive landscape, develop competitive intel documents, and train sales in positioning Qualys products against competitors. Product Marketing Support : Collaborate with product marketing to create product collateral and demos. Qualifications : Experience : 2+ years in solution engineering, pre-sales systems engineering, or field evangelism, with a background in Cloud Security Products being a significant advantage. Technical Skills : Proficient in Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Threat Detection, and SCA. Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, GCP), K8, Docker, Python, CloudFormation, or Terraform. Communication Skills : Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex requirements in simple terms. Collaboration : Comfortable with conflicts and capable of influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority. Education : Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
