Job descriptionMBA / PGDM from a reputed institution. 4 to 10 years of experience as a Category Manager preferably within the FMCG industry. Proven expertise in managing both Food and Non-Food FMCG categories. Strong understanding of retail operations and category management principles. Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in data analysis and category performance reporting. Category Manager - FMCG
We are seeking a proactive and professional Category Manager with extensive experience in the FMCG sector to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon Haryana. If you have a strong background in managing FMCG categories and are looking for a full-time permanent role we encourage you to apply.
Tasks
- Develop and execute category strategies for FMCG products (both food and non-food).
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage product assortment pricing promotions and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with sales marketing and supply chain teams to achieve category objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor category performance and report on key metrics.
- Ensure optimal product placement and visibility within retail environments.
