Emerson - Assistant Manager - Outside Sales

Job Description :

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Responsible for growing and building relationships with customers from Maharashtra including Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur etc. to increase ACT products and solutions business volume.
• Meet set Booking Targets, Gross Profit and Goals for the respective Fiscal Year.
• Set Strategy for business growth, implement and drive result.
• Own all Valve OEM accounts from Maharashtra to lead and win Projects.
• Engage early with the End users and / or engineering consultants in the FEED / Planning phase of projects to drive preference for ACT through influencing specifications, technology and solutions differentiation messaging.
• Work closely with Emerson multi-BU India organization to create more opportunities to win and capture installed base.
• Products focus would be to sell Biffi, Bettis, EIM, Rack & Pinion (brand names such as Bettis, Hytork etc) with complete (VOS) Valve operating system & Emerson make Gear Boxes.
• Expand customers coverage by identifying new customers and new applications with existing customers.
• Promote and drive new products and solutions to end users.
• Support end users for their Outage, Plant level, and replacement opportunity.
• Map and increase installed base of ACT products in the region.

• You follow through on commitments and make sure others do the same, gain insight into customer needs, maintain a track record of exceeding goals This Role, You Will Need?
• Possess a bachelors degree in engineering / science discipline / other degree holder with minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience of directly selling in the process Automation Industry and On Off Valves industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with End Users, Engineering Consultants and VOEMs.
• Good Knowledge of Inco Terms & Commercial Terms & Conditions.
• Possesses good communication with Selling and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• Have integrity and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with determination to succeed and ability to meet deadline.
• Should have experience working with Matrix organization & understand multiple reporting levels.
• Disciplined financial reporting is a must.
• Commit and own monthly, quarterly and yearly booking numbers in line with Qualifications that Set You Apart :
• Experience in the Actuation and Valve Industry with specific to Pneumatics, Electrics, Hydraulic Products would be an added Offer to You :
