Position Summary : We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President – Sales to lead and expand our sales team.
The AVP Sales will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth across defined regions or sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional or vertical sales teams to achieve targets and drive performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to create go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze sales metrics and generate regular reports for executive leadership.
- Drive pipeline development and forecast accuracy using CRM and sales tools.
- Ensure compliance with pricing, policies, and contractual guidelines.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and trade shows.
- Assist in budgeting, target setting, and annual business planning for the sales function.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).8–12 years of progressive experience in B2B / B2C sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and pipeline management.Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Experience (Tailor Based on Industry) :
