Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Management
- Drive the achievement of sales targets (primary & secondary) and market share for the assigned region.
- Ensure consistent YOY growth in revenue, volume, and profitability .
- Monitor KPIs and sales metrics regularly and take corrective actions.
2. Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers / Executives , or Business Development Managers .Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and training sessions.Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.3. Market Expansion & Penetration
Identify and develop new business opportunities, dealer / distributor appointments, and retail / channel expansion.Develop region-specific strategies based on market dynamics and consumer behavior.Collaborate with the marketing team for execution of region-specific promotions and launches.4. Distributor & Channel Partner Management
Manage distributor health, ROI, claim settlements, and stock hygiene.Optimize supply chain and logistics coordination within the region.Address and resolve distributor or trade issues promptly.5. Customer Relationship & Service
Build strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and institutional clients (if applicable).Ensure customer satisfaction, complaint resolution, and service quality.Conduct trade meets, engagement programs, and loyalty initiatives.6. Reporting & Analysis
Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.Analyze sales data, identify gaps, and design corrective action plans.Present regional performance in review meetings with senior management.Qualifications
Essential :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or any relevant discipline8–12+ years of experience in sales / operations with at least 3–5 years in a team-leading or regional roleDesirable :
MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business ManagementPrior experience in the same industry or region preferredProficiency in MS Excel, CRM, or ERP toolsSkills Required
