Position : ServiceNow Tester
Experience Required : 3 to 5 Years (QA / Testing, with ServiceNow experience preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow testing, HRSD module validation, and Automated Test Frameworks (ATFs). This role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for ServiceNow applications (with a focus on HR Service Delivery).
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Frameworks (ATFs) in ServiceNow, including test suites, reusable steps, and regression packs.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, system, and end-to-end testing across multiple ServiceNow modules and integrated platforms.
- Conduct integration testing between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., HR, Payroll, ITSM, and third-party applications).
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow Test Management, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, guiding users, and triaging defects.
- Participate actively in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate risks or issues to project Skills & Qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years of QA / testing experience with strong exposure to enterprise platforms; ServiceNow HRSD testing experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing ATFs in ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST / SOAP) using Postman, ReadyAPI, or equivalent tools.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript to validate ServiceNow business rules and automation scripts is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL / database queries for backend validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional Skills & Certifications (Good to Have) :
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS HRSD).
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
- Exposure to CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps) for automated testing.
