Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer with strong Azure experience to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022).
- Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).
- Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
- Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
- Provide L3 / L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
- Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.
- Work with vendors and other teams for issue resolution and implementation support.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.Preferred Qualifications :
Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practicesSoft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
