Job Summary :
We are on the lookout for a highly technical Third-Party App Management Specialist with over 6 years of experience to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of our Salesforce ecosystem. This vital, remote role involves owning the complete lifecycle of all third-party AppExchange and API integrations. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of governance and compliance, managing a diverse portfolio of applications to support business operations seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of third-party Salesforce AppExchange packages and API integrations, including managing dependencies, testing in sandboxes, and orchestrating production deployments.
- Proactively monitor app performance and integration health using tools like Salesforce Shield Event Monitoring and Platform Events. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues related
to authentication, data synchronization, and API throttling.
Ensure strict license compliance, manage vendor relationships, and prepare for technical and security audits to uphold governance policies.Partner with business and technology stakeholders to assess technical requirements for new integrations, evaluate app architecture for security and scalability, and develop a long-term app roadmap.Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and governance standards for all managed third-party integrations to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.Required Skills & Qualifications :
6+ years of hands-on experience in managing Salesforce AppExchange apps and API integrations.A strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including API limits, governor limits, and security models.Expertise with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and common integration patterns.Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.Experience with vendor management from a technical perspective, including evaluating security, performance, and SLAs.(ref : hirist.tech)
