Job Summary

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our growing content team. This will involve editing video clips, trimming and assembling footage, adding music, sound effects, transitions, color correction, and visual effects, as well as producing eye-catching thumbnails. You will also help elevate the editorial content of our video offerings by contributing creatively to our YouTube channel.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video content for YouTube.
• Trim, cut, and arrange footage, ensuring fluid transitions, high-quality sound effects, and appropriate background music.
• Perform colour grading and correction, ensuring all content aligns with our brand’s visual style.
• Add text overlays, captions, and subtitles to make content accessible and engaging.
• Design compelling thumbnails that encourage viewers to click and engage with the video content.
• Collaborate closely with the editorial and production teams to maintain the quality and consistency of all video content.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in news, cinema, video editing techniques, and YouTube best practices.
• Ensure all video content is optimized for YouTube, focusing on creating engaging and shareable videos.
