Job Summary
The F&B Trainer is responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating training programs for F&B service staff. The role ensures service standards are consistently met, enhances guest experience, and supports overall departmental performance through continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities 1. Training & Development
- Conduct induction and on-the-job training for new F&B associates.
- Deliver training programs on service standards, grooming, etiquette, menu knowledge, POS operations, hygiene, and safety.
- Develop refresher training sessions to continuously improve staff performance.
- Design SOP-based training modules for all F&B outlets.
2. Operational Excellence
Ensure all training aligns with brand standards and hospitality best practices.Support daily operations during peak hours as required.Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or corrective training when needed.Conduct regular skill assessments and maintain training records.3. Guest Experience Enhancement
Train the team on guest engagement, complaint handling, upselling, and personalized service.Conduct role-play sessions and mock service drills.Work closely with outlet managers to identify areas for improvement in guest service scores.4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure alignment with FSSAI hygiene and safety standards.Conduct regular audits on service quality, hygiene practices, and staff grooming.Address gaps identified during audits with targeted training sessions.5. Coordination & Reporting
Prepare monthly training calendars and reports.Collaborate with HR and department heads for training needs analysis (TNA).Maintain an updated database of all training activities and participant progress.Qualifications & Skills Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or related field.4–5 years of experience in F&B service and at least 2 year in a training or supervisory role.Strong communication and presentation skills.Excellent knowledge of F&B service standards, hygiene, and safety practices.Ability to motivate and coach teams.Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
