Roles & Responsibilities
As Regional Sales Manager – West & Central India , you will be responsible for building and leading a sales team while driving business growth and expanding the company’s footprint across channels.
Key responsibilities include :
- Business Growth
- Achieve sales, revenue, and distribution targets across GT, MT, E-Comm / Quick Comm, and HoReCa .
- Drive market penetration and expand presence in existing and new territories.
- Ensure effective execution of trade marketing and visibility initiatives.
- Strategic Partnerships & Distribution
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and trade partners in the region.
- Build long-term relationships with modern trade chains and institutional buyers.
- Strengthen regional distribution networks to support business expansion.
- Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, Train, and develop the regional sales team in line with business objectives.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and drive accountability within the team.
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure continuous development and retention.
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture.
- Market Expansion & Insights
- Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and performance tracking.
- Provide strategic inputs to management for decision-making and business planning.
- Align regional strategies with national growth objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate / MBA in Business, Marketing, or related discipline .Minimum 10+ Years of FMCG Sales Experience , with at least 3-4 Years in a Team Leadership / Regional Sales Manager RoleStrong exposure to multi-channel sales (GT, MT, E-Comm, HoReCa) .Proven ability to build and lead sales teams .Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Willingness to travel extensively across West & Central India.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
