MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC / AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Job Profile : Position details :

The improper use of End User Computing Calculators ("EUCCs") can lead to incorrect business decisions, incorrect financial / regulatory reporting, inability to respond to regulatory requests, and other significant problems that could result in significant financial and / or reputational loss to financial institutions. Proper use of EUCCs requires that they are developed, managed, and maintained in a manner that ensures the accuracy and reliability of their results. EUCC Testing is the set of processes and activities intended to verify that EUCCs are operated using appropriate controls, in line with their design objectives and business uses.

The candidate will report to the Head of Model and EUCC Risk in MGS India as part of the Model and EUCC Risk Center of Excellence. This team works to support the Model and EUCC Risk Management team of the Americas which is responsible for the enterprise-wide model validation and control function to ensure the continued safety and soundness of models used across the bank. The Quantitative Risk Control (QRC) group provides a second line of defense risk management governance across EUCCs use by all lines of businesses in MUFG CUSO and MUFG Canada and the candidate will have opportunities to work in EUCC Testing and related activities across all areas of the bank.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct independent Second Line of Defense testing on controls established by EUCC Owners, and document results in an organized and clear manner using designated templates and in alignment with the MUFG CUSO and MUFG Canada EUCC Risk Management Policy and Procedures.
• Manage a team of EUCC testers, ensuring the quality, compliance, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Provide guidance to EUCC testers related to EUCC finding identification, communication to EUCC Owner and finding remediation review for closure determination.
• Review EUCC changes for impacts to EUCC rating, classification and possible incremental EUCC testing needed.
• Support in EUCC Testing and related workflows reporting and tracking and documentation archival.
• Support information gathering related to regulatory and audit inquiries.
• Execute activities in compliance with the MUFG CUSO and MUFG Canada EUCC Risk Management Policy and Procedure.
• Interact with counterparts in the Americas to remain aligned with program requirements.
• Experience with managing and leading a small team to high performance standards.
