Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of test professionals to define and execute the testing strategy and policies.
- Bring up the new ideas and drive test strategy using effective tools and ensuring standards for system, apps and software testing.
- Develop and implement best practices for testing methodologies, test automation, and performance testing across projects and teams.
- Champion a shift-left testing mindset, ensuring quality is embedded early in the software development lifecycle.
- Promote continuous improvement in testing, enhancing both quality and efficiency.
- Propose and implement test data automation.
- Drive the adoption of Agile or DevOps testing practices, ensuring they are tailored to the specific needs of the organization and projects.
- Provide guidance and coaching on best practices in manual and automated testing, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the right testing talent is applied to the appropriate projects.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and support career development for team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in testing, and introduce relevant changes to improve processes.
- Be a part of taking Testing to the next level with marketing solutions and left shift techniques.
