About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead B2C and Corporate sales of LexisNexis’ online legal research products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business from individual professionals (lawyers, Law Firms as well as corporate clients including compliance teams, and in-house legal departments.

This is a hunting sales role that demands high-volume cold calling, proactive lead generation, and consultative solution selling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibility

B2C (Individual Sales) :

  • Generate and convert leads from independent legal professionals Like Solo Advocates, Senior Advocates of High Courts and Supreme Court and small , Mid and Large size Law firms situated in Northern India.
  • Conduct cold calls, virtual demos, and in-person meetings to pitch LexisNexis products.
  • Drive high-velocity sales cycles and achieve monthly B2C conversion targets.
  • Deliver personalized product demos that address pain points and deliver value.

Corporate Sales :

  • Identify and approach corporate legal teams, in house Counsels, and compliance heads.
  • Build strong prospect pipelines through networking, cold outreach, events, and referrals.
  • Understand organizational legal / compliance workflows to tailor appropriate product solutions (e.g., Lexis Advance, Lexis Create and other Core Online International Products of LexisNexis.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals, RFPs, and pricing based on business needs.
  • Engage in C-level conversations, influence buying decisions, and lead contract negotiations.
  • General Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate lead, pipeline, and closure data in (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with marketing for campaign execution and lead nurturing.
  • Stay up to date with product features, legal trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Provide feedback to product and content teams based on customer needs
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's in law, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 2–6 years of B2C or corporate sales experience in SaaS, EdTech, LegalTech, content, or subscription-based services.
  • Strong success record in cold calling, lead generation, and deal closures.
  • Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strong presentation, demo, and solution-selling abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales channels.
  • Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision and achieving aggressive targets.
