Job Summary :
We are seeking a driven and strategic
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
to oversee sales operations in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales executives, drive revenue growth, expand customer base, and strengthen the company's market presence through effective planning, execution, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement area-wise sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Lead, train, and manage the performance of the regional sales team
- Identify new business opportunities and expand dealer / distributor networks
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, accounts) to streamline operations
- Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management
- Conduct regular field visits to support team and ensure market coverage
- Organize product demonstrations, roadshows, and local marketing campaigns
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies

5–8 years of experience in B2B sales with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial roleExperience in industrial products, B2B SalesExperience in the fasteners industry or similar industrial product categories is a strong advantage
