Role Description
We are looking for a strategic and driven professional to lead market development and business growth for our Plaster Boards and Drywall solutions in the Healthcare and Hospitality segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, architects, developers, consultants, and turnkey interior contractors. They will proactively secure project specifications and lead marketing initiatives to create a robust project pipeline. The role involves evaluating market trends, mapping competition and substitute products, and preparing quarterly analysis reports on the sector. A strong focus on category creation and market penetration for Drywalls is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for initiating solution presentations, developing case studies and customer testimonials, supporting the sales team with warm leads, and identifying new account opportunities. Additionally, the role includes representing the company at sector-specific events and forums to enhance visibility and engagement.
Candidate Requisite
The ideal candidate should bring 6 to 8 years of B2B business development experience in the building materials industry, with a strong focus on market mapping, lead generation and management, influencer engagement, and a deep understanding of the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors. Prior experience working with clients in these segments is essential. The candidate must possess excellent communication and persuasion skills, along with a creative and strategic mindset. Strong networking capabilities and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders are critical. A solid foundation in business development is required, supported by a qualification such as a Science degree, Engineering (non-IT), or B.Arch, preferably complemented by an MBA.
