The Impact You Will Have in This Role :
As a member of the IT SIFMU Delivery team, you will support core Clearing and Settlement applications for DTC, NSCC, and FICC, as well as Wealth Management Insurance Services. You will also be involved in overseeing Master Reference Data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices, approaches, and standards are adopted across the organization. In an Agile environment, you will work with the Product Owner (PO) to understand business needs and contribute to planning, definition, and high-level technical design.
Your Primary Responsibilities :
Act as a technical expert for one or more applications used by DTCCCollaborate with the Business System Analyst to ensure designs meet functional requirementsPartner with Infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting environmentsTune application performance to eliminate and reduce issuesResearch and evaluate technical solutions in line with DTCC technology standardsAlign risk and control processes into daily responsibilities, escalating appropriatelyApply appropriate software development methodologies based on project needsContribute to the design of components or individual programs, and participate in construction and functional testingSupport development teams, including testing, fixing, and production supportCreate applications and unit test cases to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirementsWork with peers to improve ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous deliveryQualifications :
Minimum 7 years of related experienceBachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for Success :
Technical Expertise :Experience in designing and developing complex Online and Batch Mainframe Applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2Knowledge of MQ and DB2 Connect for communication with Distributed Web applicationsWorking knowledge of Batch jobs using JCL, with catalog procedures and files (PS / PDS / VSAM)Experience with scheduling activities using CA-SchedulerProficiency in application programming IDEs for Mainframe (IDZ)Working knowledge of Version control / Configuration Management tools (e.g., Changeman)Expertise in reverse-engineering Mainframe applications involving DB2 and CICSNice to have : Experience with CI / CD processes for MainframeSoft Skills :Self-motivated and a continuous learnerAgile, curious attitude with a strong drive to adapt and growStrong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCapable of providing governance and guidance to project teams during component integrationExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAdditional Information :
