Senior Mainframe Developer - Pacbase

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our team.

This role requires expertise in Mainframe development with a specialization in Pacbase.

The position offers a hybrid work model in Hyderabad and Chennai.

For candidates in other states, a remote arrangement is available.

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate is a senior-level individual who can independently perform development, testing, and support functions.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from coding and testing to implementation and ongoing support of our mainframe systems.

Essential Job Functions & Principal Accountabilities :

• Mainframe Development : Utilize strong skills in MVS Cobol, JCL, and DB2 to develop and maintain mainframe applications.
• Pacbase Expertise : Leverage extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Pacbase for system development and maintenance.
• Coding & Testing : Write clean, efficient code and perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Stored Procedures : Apply strong knowledge of Stored Procedures to optimize database interactions.
• System Interfaces : Understand and work with various interface systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Implementation & Support : Lead and participate in system implementations and provide ongoing support.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of system processes and designs.
• Independent Management : Manage assignments and tasks independently, ensuring timely completion.
• On-Call Support : Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to resolve critical issues outside of normal business hours.
