Overall, Job Objective :
To ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the Supply Chain systems by providing proactive system administration, troubleshooting, and technical support. This role bridges technology and operations by managing system configurations, monitoring performance, and resolving incidents while also serving as the first point of contact for business users. The objective is to maintain operational continuity, support business needs, and drive efficiency through reliable system management and responsive communication.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide end-to-end support for all Supply Chain solutions, ensuring continuous system availability and performance.
- Serve as the immediate technical contact for all locations that use Supply Chain systems, handling calls and chats and documenting all interactions in ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues and outages, collaborating with vendors, developers, and application administrators to determine root cause and long-term resolution.
- Manage automation infrastructure for DCs, MDCs, and Ship Hubs to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Respond to system alerts and use monitoring tools to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within Supply Chain systems.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply standardized procedures and best practices to achieve goals, meet deadlines, and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Escalate and advance issues as necessary to ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.
- Develop and maintain documentation for incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and future problem prevention.
- Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments in partnership with IT, operations, and vendors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements that increase efficiency and reliability.
Platform Administration :
Proficiency with the following applications is preferred but not required :HighJump Warehouse Management System, Oracle, SQL, Service Now, Genesys, Dispatch Track, Mercury Gate, LogilityQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or a related role.Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar supply chain solutions is strongly preferred.Familiarity with troubleshooting infrastructure and software systems in a fast-paced environment is a plus.Basic understanding of supply chain systems and their interaction with broader business processes.Solid grasp of SQL / Oracle is a bonus.General familiarity with automation infrastructure in distribution and logistics environments.Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into user-friendly explanations.Self-motivated and thorough, capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively.Regular and reliable attendance.
