Senior Manager-Revenue Operations

We're looking for a Senior Manager-Revenue Operations to join our Finance team, reporting to the Associate Director of Finance. In this role, you'll be crucial in overseeing all revenue management functions, from recognition to billing and collections, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP (ASC606). You'll also work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, FP&A, and Legal to optimize revenue and ensure smooth and effective cash flow and billing processes.

A Day in the Life :

• Cash Flow Management : Track and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs. Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to anticipate financial needs and optimize cash balances.
• Treasury Operations : Maintain and monitor bank accounts, accurately recording transactions. Execute and monitor transactions like wire transfers and ACH payments. Identify strategies for optimizing liquidity, including managing credit facilities and short-term borrowing or investing excess cash.
• Risk Management : Monitor and manage liquidity risk, ensuring the organization can meet financial commitments even in adverse conditions. Monitor and manage currency risk exposure through hedging strategies.
• Policy & Compliance : Oversee and execute treasury-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Develop and enforce treasury policies and procedures for efficient and secure operations.
• Reconciliation & Controls : Reconcile treasury transactions with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies. Maintain strong internal controls over treasury operations to prevent fraud and ensure data accuracy.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments like accounting, finance, and legal to align on financial strategies and objectives.
• Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) : Lead the revenue recognition process for SaaS subscription models, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly close processes for revenue, including variance analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Billing & Collections : Oversee and streamline the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation. Implement and monitor effective collections processes to minimize outstanding receivables and maintain strong cash flow.
• Internal Controls : Develop and maintain internal controls around billing and collection processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory environments.
• Audit & Contracts : Manage all revenue recognition matters with external audit firms. Partner with Legal and Sales to review and approve contracts for revenue recognition, billing terms, and collection policies.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue, billing, and collections professionals.
