Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager - Client Relationships based in Gurugram . The role involves managing key client relationships in the travel and tourism sector , particularly with international tourism boards and B2B partners . Responsibilities include driving account growth, ensuring service excellence, and leading strategic initiatives in coordination with internal teams.

Work Experience : 7-8 years (relevant)

Location : Udyog Vihar, Phase-1, Gurugram

5 days working environment

Timings : 10 am – 6 pm

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and nurture relationships with travel and tourism clients, including international tourism boards and related stakeholders, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with key B2B stakeholders and industry trade partners—including online travel agents (OTAs), travel agencies, and tour operators—to drive collaboration, increase brand visibility, and expand market presence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, upselling services, and negotiating contracts with clients.
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue and build long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and finance to deliver seamless client service and ensure successful project execution.
  • Plan and execute successful trade events such as roadshows, B2B networking sessions, and training programs to promote tourism board initiatives and generate quality leads.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommend strategies for client growth and service enhancement.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales pipeline, and client feedback for senior management.
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and meetings with international tourism boards to strengthen network and business development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations while maintaining a professional and ethical approach in all client dealings.

Essential Requirements :

  • Bachelor&aposs / Master&aposs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
  • Deep understanding of the travel and tourism sector
  • Proven experience in client servicing and managing key accounts
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships
  • Experience with international clients will be an added advantage
  • Exceptional writing and verbal skills
