We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives in the Northern Region of India covering Mumbai / Gujarat. This role is critical in expanding our customer base increasing market share and ensuring customer satisfaction for our portfolio of laboratory instruments and consumables.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership :
- Drive sales for Biotage portfolio of laboratory instruments and consumables in the Western Region including Maharashtra Gurjat and Goa.
- Lead sales efforts for Biotages instrument and consumable product lines including Automated Flash Chromatography Microwave synthesizer Solid Phase Peptide Synthesizers solvent evaporators nitrogen evaporators automated sample preparation plasmid purification and scale-up purification systems
Relationships :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.Market Analysis :
Stay current on industry trends and competitor activitiesDevelop and implement strategies to grow the sales of Biotage products within the regionCross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with the national sales and service teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfactionReporting and Insights
Provide regular updates and sales performance customer feedback and market dynamicsSkills and Experience
Bachelors degree or higher in Life Sciences Chemistry or a related field (postgraduate qualifications highly desirable)).Proven track record of selling laboratory instruments especially in chromatography microwave systems or peptide synthesis.Familiarity with small molecule synthesis and purification systems is highly desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently.Willingness to travel extensively within territoryKnowledge of the Northern Indian market is a plus.What we offer
