Position : Director of Sales - International EdTech (US Focus)

Experience : Minimum 15 Years in International EdTech Sales

Location : Delhi (On-site)

Job Summary

Aimlay, a global leader in providing educational pathways (Matriculation to PhD) and validation for working professionals and experiential learners, is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales - International EdTech.

Based on-site in Delhi, this senior executive role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in International EdTech Sales. The Director will be solely responsible for creating and executing global sales strategies, driving significant market penetration in targeted international regions (with a focus on the US), managing international sales operations, and leading a high performing global sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Key Sales Leadership and Planning :

  • Create and implement advanced international sales strategies that are rigorously aligned with the company's overall global expansion goals and transformative mission.
  • Drive aggressive market penetration and expansion in targeted international regions and emerging markets, utilizing deep expertise in the global EdTech landscape.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities in both emerging and established international markets.

Global Team Management and Development :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage international sales teams across various global regions, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer focus.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direct support to regional sales managers to ensure consistent achievement of individual and collective sales targets.
  • Ensure strict alignment of the global sales team efforts and objectives with overarching corporate strategy.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting :

  • Oversee the entire sales forecasting and reporting process for international sales performance, providing accurate and timely insights to the executive team.
  • Develop and manage the comprehensive international sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation and use of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Market Analysis and Business Development :

  • Conduct continuous, in-depth analysis of global market trends, evolving customer needs, and the highly competitive landscape within the international EdTech sector.
  • Identify potential key growth areas and meticulously develop targeted sales plans customized for the distinct characteristics of each international region.
  • Operational Oversight :

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in customer service provided by the international sales Minimum 15 years of professional experience in International EdTech Sales is mandatory.
  • Strategic Acumen : Proven ability to create, implement, and successfully execute complex, high-impact international sales strategies.

    Leadership : Extensive experience in leading, managing, and mentoring international sales teams across diverse geographies.

    Financial Management : Demonstrated expertise in sales forecasting, detailed reporting, and comprehensive budget development and management.

    Global Market Knowledge : Deep understanding of international market trends, competitive landscape analysis, and business development in global EdTech, particularly with exposure to the US market.

    Soft Skills : Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing a global team and executive-level interactions.

    Residency : Must be willing and able to work on-site in Delhi.
