Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to lead the Sales and Business Development function for Manupatra’s SaaS solutions . This role demands a strategic, hands-on professional who can elevate the brand, strengthen market presence, and drive consistent revenue growth.
As the Lead – Sales & BD, you will lead a high-performing sales organisation, manage national P&L, and build strong customer and market connections through continuous evaluation of competition and industry trends.
The ideal candidate brings a go-getter mindset , solid experience in service-industry sales, and a proven record of achieving high-growth revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.Drive B2B and direct sales, focusing on corporate client acquisition and relationship building.Motivate and guide teams to accomplish ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and SaaS sales goals.Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and conversion optimisation.Strategically position Manupatra’s SaaS platforms as leading market solutions.Market Evaluation & Competitive Analysis
Analyze customer behavior, industry shifts, and competitive offerings.Identify new opportunities, partnership possibilities, and expansion avenues.Team Management
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Sales & Customer Success team.Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive a culture of accountability and achievement.P&L Management
Oversee end-to-end P&L for the SaaS division nationwide.Ensure strong financial governance, cost optimisation, and revenue acceleration.Client Relationship & Executive Presence
Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, VPs, Procurement Heads).Represent the company at leadership forums, conferences, and enterprise client meetings.Deliver persuasive presentations and engage confidently with senior leadership and board members.Customer-Centric Approach
Understand client pain points and design value-driven SaaS solutions.Drive customer lifecycle management and retention strategies.Product Collaboration & Solutioning
Work closely with the internal product team to align product direction with market needs.Use technical understanding to communicate solution value and address complex client requirements.Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in sales within the service industryOverall 7–10+ years of professional experience preferred (aligned with seniority of the role).Proven success in direct corporate sales , revenue ownership, and team leadership.Exposure to social media–based marketing activities.Strong record of achieving aggressive targets and driving business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
