SAP global delivery footprint , we are seeking a visionary leader to head our offshore SAP solutions delivery— shaping strategy, enabling innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence across one or more transformation programs.
The
Offshore SAP Delivery Director (Solution Head)
will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for the
end-to-end delivery, governance, and innovation
of SAP transformation programs. This role demands a blend of
solution architecture mastery, delivery discipline, and leadership excellence , ensuring every engagement aligns with Sutherland’s promise of delivering value through digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Solution Leadership
Lead
SAP Greenfield and Brownfield implementations , providing technical direction and solution governance across programs.
Act as the
chief solution authority , driving design integrity for
S / 4HANA, BTP , and core modules including
SD, MM, CPQ, and FICO .
Establish
solution review frameworks , engineering standards, and delivery best practices across all SAP engagements.
Drive
continuous innovation
leveraging SAP BTP, automation, and digital integration tools to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Delivery Excellence & Governance
Own
end-to-end solution delivery outcomes —from architecture through deployment, integration, and stabilization.
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams of
solution architects, developers, testers, and OCM professionals
ensuring on-time, quality delivery.
Apply
Agile principles and SAP Activate methodology
to optimize delivery velocity and adaptability.
Ensure alignment with Sutherland’s
quality, compliance, and customer success frameworks .
Client & Stakeholder Leadership
Serve as the
executive point of contact
for strategic SAP programs, driving customer satisfaction, engagement governance, and conflict resolution.
Partner closely with
global delivery heads, sales, and practice leaders
to shape solution strategy and pursuit readiness.
Champion
executive communications , presenting progress, risks, and insights to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
Leadership & Capability Building
Build and scale a high-performing SAP delivery team with clear accountability and ownership across workstreams.
Mentor senior managers and architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery ownership.
Lead initiatives to
modernize delivery through engineering mindset , process automation, and emerging SAP technologies.
Experience & Expertise Required
15–20+ years of progressive SAP delivery experience , including
2+ full-cycle Greenfield implementations .
Proven success as a
Solution Architect or Program Director
in complex, multi-module S / 4HANA and BTP engagements.
Expertise across multiple SAP domains ( SD, MM, CPQ, FICO ) with strong integration and customization knowledge.
Experience delivering global transformation programs using
Agile and SAP Activate methodologies .
Demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed delivery teams and manage senior client stakeholders.
Strong executive presence, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
