Swiss MNC is looking for Senior Sales Engineer to sell Process Engineering Equipments in Pharma Clusters of Hyderabad, Maharashtra and Goa.

Position Summary :
We are seeking experienced and driven Sales Engineers to develop our business in the West India (Maharashtra / Goa) and Hyderabad pharmaceutical cluster. This is a field-oriented role with 2040% home-office work, the rest spent visiting customers, prospects, and leads. Travel outside the region will represent 1020% of the time, but full availability for extended business trips of up to 12 weeks when necessary is required.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven excellence in value-based sales in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, has an established professional network with consultants and EPC contractors, and thrives in a role requiring autonomy, responsibility, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand companys presence in the Hyderabad and Maharashtra / Goa pharma cluster.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing with a focus on consultative, value-driven selling.
- Engage directly with decision-makers, consultants, and EPC contractors to promote our solutions.
- Adapt communication style seamlessly from apprentice process operators to CEOs and board members.
- Support customers during pre-sales with technical presentations, solution design discussions, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate closely with India Head office and Swiss headquarters for project follow-up, quotations, and technical clarifications.
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Ensure customer needs are translated into precise technical requirements for engineering teams.
Required Mechanical Engineering or BSc (minimum) or MSc (preferred)
Process EngineeringPharmaceutical Production EngineeringOr a closely related field directly relevant to the design, dimensioning, and operation of sterile process 5- 8 years of technical sales or application engineering experience exclusively in sterile process technology or hygienic systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing.Proven record of excellence in value-based sales in a competitive market.Well-established professional network in pharmaceutical manufacturing, consultancy firms, and EPC contractors.Technical Knowledge :
Strong understanding of hygienic design principles, sterile process requirements, and relevant Excellent written and spoken English, Hindi and local language. Additional languages are a strong plus.Personal Attributes
