Experience required – 5 to 12 years

Location - Pune / Bangalore / Chennai

NP - 15 days max

Sharing the summary and our proposal :

• It’s a L2 support role
• We discussed on attached Job Description
• The candidate is supposed to have good understanding of Java and should be able to debug the code, identify the root cause, and fix the minor issues, pass on to L3 team for major changes
• The key tech skills / tools : Java / Spring boot / Microservices / SQL / Windows / Basic Linux / Shell Scripting / Service Now / Splunk / AppDynamics
• Shift :
• I recollect you mentioned the support hours as 9 : 30 PM EST to 1 : 00 PM EST – which is 15.5hr. I think you mentioned that you have 2 shifts in this duration.
• Please help me with clarifying the EST hours during which this support is needed
• Our proposal :
• We are proposing two mid experience (3Y-6Y) offshore candidates for this role
• This can be manageable without budget increase as this would be a replacement of Mexico role which is higher on cost as compared to offshore
• Additionally, this proposal can mitigate the risk of absence of one engineer due to planned / unplanned(sick) leaves.
• Also, it can give coverage during two shifts i.e. one engineer in one shift. We can work out on the shift timings.
• Though we have some operational queries, that can be discussed during onboarding of the candidates.
