The Assistant Manager will be a member of the Media Insights Team based out of Bangalore Finance Planning and Reporting Centre of Excellence (PRCoE). They will support and advise on strategic, commercial, and operational decision-making through insights that drive better business performance for the CFO, Finance Director, and Global Media Partners. They will be required to work across a wide stakeholder group, including group, regional, market finance teams, and Amplifi teams across the organisations to ensure timely media and supplier data submissions and reporting.
Job Description :
- Own the preparation of new reporting requirements as well as periodic (monthly, quarterly, or annual) performance dashboards and presentations.
- Ensure all internal monthly Actuals reporting, annual budgetingand quarterly forecasting for Media Income is delivered in a timely and accurate way (PL)balancing speed efficiency and quality
- Summarise the financial trends across businesses, geographies, brands, and capabilities into Dentsu-level senior leadership and executive summaries.
- Provide financial insights based on the market inputs post media deals data reported (monthly, quarterly / annual)
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working in collaboration with the regional finance team to ensure planning is realistic, balanced, and action-orientated.
- Support on all periodic and ad hoc requests received from Global Client and Media team, Brands, GMPs and Commercial leads, including media performance reporting and insights, PL reporting and Risk / Opportunity insights
- Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with the reporting manager while delivering quality results.
- Timely escalation of issues to reporting manager and suggesting action plan for resolution of issue.
- Maintain a robust FPnA control environment that adheres to the Dentsu Group policies and embeds best practices across business.
- Provide timely updates, dashboards, and KPI reports and maintain effective engagement with various stakeholders and other process owners.
- Suggest measures for process / report improvements and lead in carrying it out effectively
- Be an effective commercial business partner and strong contributor in building the commercial functions in RCOE with the capability to lead projects independently. Providing financial insights and analysis of Media Service Line to enable and influence key business decisions across Global Media Operations
Professional Skills and Capabilities
