We’re seeking someone with a technical background (e.g., cloud computing, data engineering, GIS, or software engineering) so that he / she can speak the language of our customers and familiarity with providing learning and development trainings or marketing events. This hybrid profile will enable us to scale our programs effectively.
How will the person support Technology Academy and evolving business needs :
1) Core Operational Support
Backlog items requiring expanded capacity :
1. GeoAI ESRI training package (workshops, trainings). SDE team asking support.
2. Recent AWS security incident, requiring set of security trainings to be planned. Trust team asking support in adhoc manner
3. Instructor-led, external training per team and vendor, trainer, team arrangements. Regularly asked by teams.
4. Surveying to understand exact needs, in which project the skill will be used, the level of profiency
5. Learning pathway creations and assignment, based on exact needs (project / skill set / level / goal / tooling discussions and following up for the feedback). Several teams asking support.
6. Regular updates on GenAI Learning Pathways aligned with the advancements. Data Operations team asking support.
7. Analyze ongoing global programs data and advise for change / improvement. Meet-the-eXpert’s data analysis waiting for support.
2) Strategic Value-Add Initiatives
Backlog items requiring expanded capacity :
1. Tech Academy regular representation in Tech Board quarterly updates : Although I have close relationship with and recognition by the Board members, having some free capacity will allow us to step in more.
2. AI strategy : We can be involved in this project group, only if we have capacity to support additional requests that will come with being involved.
3. Imagine : This is not planned as part of PD 2025 priorities or Tech Academy 2025 planning. As we work at capacity with 2 people, this is putting us in a very tough spot and impacting the existing commitments, deliveries and quality.
4. Student Hackathons : Asking our support.
5. External Hackathons with AWS and HERE : Asking our support.
6. Executive level training in GenAI : Waiting for support.
