Sales Assistant Manager – Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean Freight)
Experience Required : 2 to 5 years
: Key Responsibilities :
I - Business Development : Generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for air and ocean freight services.
II - Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering suitable solutions.
III - Sales and Negotiations : Conduct client meetings, deliver impactful presentations, and effectively negotiate terms to close deals and secure new business.
IV - Customized Solutions : Develop tailored logistics and supply chain solutions that meet specific client requirements.
V - Collaboration : Work closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
I - Experience : Proven experience in freight forwarding sales or a similar logistics role.
II - Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain processes, and related services like air and ocean freight.
III - Communication : Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
IV - Sales Acumen : Ability to achieve and surpass sales targets and effectively manage a sales pipeline.
V - Customer Focus : A passion for customer service and driving business growth.
VI - Teamwork : Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
VII - Technical Skills : Knowledge of customs clearance and other related logistics services is a plus.
