Job Description Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer & Operations Specialist to manage, operate, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end platform administration, ensuring system availability, implementing upgrades, managing incidents / problems, and driving automation for operational processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform service management, operations, and system administration activities on the ServiceNow platform.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and platform enhancements.
- Address and resolve Incidents and Problems in the platform.
- Ensure availability and resiliency of the platform, including MID servers.
- Manage User Administration, User Interface Level Integration, and MID Server Integration.
- Utilize Import Sets for loading data from external files or databases into ServiceNow.
- Continuously monitor application performance and implement vendor-recommended patches & upgrades.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Work on ITIL process consulting and / or implementation.
- Configure and manage ServiceNow modules such as :
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Service Level Management
- Asset Management
- CMS
- Develop and maintain basic JavaScript scripts within ServiceNow.
- Handle ServiceNow incident and request queues effectively.
- Perform cloning & deployment activities in ServiceNow.
- Prepare and review technical documentation.
- Execute complex data migration Skills & Qualifications :
- 6 to 10 years of relevant ServiceNow experience.
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow platform administration and operations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Hands-on experience in MID Server configuration and integration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript within ServiceNow.
- Experience with data migration and integration workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent documentation and communication Skills :
- ITIL certification or equivalent.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM.
- Exposure to automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency.
