YASH Technologies - Software Engineer - COBOL / Mainframe

Key Responsibilities :

• Mainframe Development : Design, develop, test, and maintain applications primarily using COBOL within the Mainframe environment.
• Database Interaction : Work with DB2 and IMS databases for data manipulation, storage, and retrieval.
• Job Control Language : Create and manage job streams using JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing and utility execution.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Participate in the analysis and resolution of production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Collaboration : Work effectively as a team player, collaborating with other developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Documentation : Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for developed solutions.
