We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background in factory and labor law compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Labor Welfare (MLW) degree and a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing company. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives by managing compliance, overseeing payroll and taxation, and fostering a productive and engaged workforce.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Compliance Management : Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, including the Factories Act, 1948 . You will conduct regular audits and inspections, provide guidance to employees, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Payroll and Taxation Oversight : Oversee and manage payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payments. You will be responsible for compliance with all payroll regulations and employee taxation laws.
- HR Operations and Support : Manage the employee onboarding and induction process . You will provide guidance on HR policies and best practices, support the performance appraisal process, and assist managers with performance improvement plans.
- Employee Relations : Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and resolve conflicts. You will also conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention.
- Data and Reporting : Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. You will prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
Skills Required
Education : Master of Labor Welfare (MLW) .Experience : A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in compliance roles within manufacturing companies.Technical Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of factory compliances, labor laws, payroll management, and employee taxation.Certifications : Professional certifications in compliance or related fields are a plus.Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Teamwork : The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Skills Required
