The role will be responsible for conducting market survey in shortlisted cities, identifying sites in shortlisted markets, negotiating with landlords and identify the property for showroom at the best location. The Head BD may be allotted Manager for supervision.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,
Business Development :
Role will work closely with team to conduct the market survey, carry out thorough due diligence of the potential properties and share the findings of the same with Senior Management.
Ability to weigh potential business opportunity, sales, profitability
Understand the competition and competitive rentals in the market,
Assess the return on investment (RoI) etc.
Understand the issues (if any) about the building / property
To identify potential sites for company stores.
Negotiate with landlords on the rent and other terms and conditions
Coordinate all legal matters for the site registration post the site finalisation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and Engineering to ensure smooth transition from acquisition to development.
Should assist Project Management Office to track and update the progress of the new site identification.

Ability to build good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Excellent and diverse verbal communication skills – ability to interact with multiple stakeholders from different backgrounds and sophistication levels.
Preferred profiles :
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Business development role with thorough knowledge about Markets, Real estate, Sales, Retail.
Ability to converse fluently in multiple languages – English, Tamil, and Hindi and Kannada & Telugu are optional.
Job requires travel to showrooms across South India.
