Job descriptionOversee end-to-end delivery of Provider domain initiatives, ensuring projects meet defined scope, quality, and timelines. Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations to maintain seamless delivery. Ensure delivery of robust, scalable, and compliant software solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain resource and capacity plans aligned with current and future project needs. Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources efficiently. Lead demand forecasting and workforce planning to support strategic objectives. Build and maintain strong working relationships with US and global business stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for Provider domain programs, ensuring alignment and transparency. Present delivery metrics, progress updates, and risk assessments to senior leadership. Maintain deep technical expertise in Mainframe, Java, APIs, and vendor integration ecosystems. Provide hands-on technical oversight to ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and best practices. Contribute to defining long-term IT strategy, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives within the Provider domain. 15–18 years of overall IT experience, including at least 10 years in the US Healthcare Payer industry. Strong domain knowledge across Provider Data Management , Credentialing , Contracting , and Provider Directories . Proven success in leading large-scale application development and delivery initiatives. Experience with demand / capacity planning , forecasting , and vendor management . Proficient understanding of enterprise technology stacks, including Mainframe , Java , and API integrations. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills. Experience operating in complex, matrixed global organizations. Visionary : Defines direction and drives long-term strategic outcomes. The Director of IT – Provider will lead a large cross-functional technology team, driving the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-quality solutions within the Provider domain. This role requires a visionary leader who thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment and can align technology strategy with business objectives while partnering closely with US-based stakeholders and internal teams to ensure delivery excellence.

- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Provider IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Directly manage a core team of 5 while overseeing a total of ~60 professionals, including Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
- Conduct performance reviews, guide career development, and implement targeted upskilling or hiring to address capability gaps.
