Role Overview :
The Secretarial & Compliance Executive will support company secretarial activities, ensure statutory compliance, assist with legal documentation, and maintain corporate governance standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, excellent drafting skills, and a structured work approach.
Key Responsibilities :
Secretarial & Compliance Support
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Draft board minutes, resolutions, notices, and governance-related documents.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as required.
Regulatory Filing & Reporting :
Handle filings with RoC, SEBI, and other authorities via MCA portals.Prepare and submit periodic regulatory reports within designated timelines.Support internal audits and risk management processes.Legal Drafting & Documentation
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.Support in legal research and interpretation of relevant laws / regulations.Corporate Governance & Coordination
Assist in investor relations, governance initiatives, and compliance documentation.Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on secretarial matters.Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all compliance-related activities.Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong understanding of corporate laws, compliance frameworks, and secretarial practices.Good drafting skills for minutes, resolutions, and legal documents.Knowledge of ROC filings, MCA portal, and regulatory requirements.Strong communication, documentation, and analytical abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Law, or related field.CS Executive / CS Professional candidates preferred.1-3 years of experience in company secretarial or compliance roles.(ref : iimjobs.com)
