Job Title : Secretary to CEO
Job description :
Established Public Limited Company based in Guindy, Chennai requires Secretary reporting directly to CEO to provide high-level executive and administrative support to ensure efficient management of day-to-day operations, communication, coordination across departments and to take dictations. The role requires discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Executive Support :
- Manage CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, priorities, appointments, travel arrangements, etc.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials for internal external meetings, etc.
- Draft correspondence, reports, Minutes of Meetings and official communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and project information.
Office & Administrative Coordination :
Oversee day-to-day executive office operations and ensure seamless workflow.Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence; prioritize and respond as appropriate.Monitor filing systems, documentation, and record keeping — both digital and physical.Communication & Liaison :
Act as a point of contact between the CEO and internal teams, government agencies, clients, and Vendors.Draft and review business communications, meeting notes, action point summaries, etc.Ensure timely dissemination and follow-up of CEO decisions across departments.Qualifications :
Education : Graduate / Postgraduate. Fluent in English language.Experience : 5–10 years of experience in secretarial roles, preferably supporting senior leadership and management sectors.Technical Skills :Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,).Soft Skills :Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.Ability to multitask and work under pressure with minimal supervision.Key Attributes :
