Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer (L1) to provide day-to-day technical assistance to onsite and in-house employees. The candidate will handle Windows OS issues, hardware and software troubleshooting, Autodesk and Microsoft Office application support, user account management, and basic network / domain activities. The role also includes IT asset management and coordination for shift planning and onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide onsite and in-house desktop / laptop support for hardware and Windows OS issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Autodesk applications (Revit, BIM Collaborate Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Support and resolve issues in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Manage asset allocation and inventory for IT equipment.
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Firewall.
- Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN, IP configuration, connectivity).
- Coordinate with managers for shift rosters and onboarding setup.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, assets, and daily support activities.
- Flexible to work in extended hours when required to support business operations.
Qualifications & Skills :
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT.1–3 years of experience in desktop or end-user IT support.Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Autodesk, and Microsoft 365 applications.Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Firewall systems.Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.Experience with ticketing tools is an advantage.
