Job descriptionPerform Jira or Jira Service Desk migrations, including data transfer, system configuration, and integration. Configure Jira projects, issue types, workflows, screens, permissions, and notification schemes to align with business needs. Develop, maintain, and optimize custom scripts using tools such as ScriptRunner. Manage and troubleshoot Jira-related issues, ensuring smooth system operation and high availability. Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and implement tailored Jira solutions. Provide user support, guidance, and training for Jira best practices. Maintain documentation using Confluence and Excel for system processes and configurations. Stay updated with the latest Jira features, plugins (e.g., Insights, ScriptRunner), and industry best practices. Ensure Jira harmonization across projects and departments.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Proven experience in Jira administration, including migration, configuration, and scripting.
- In-depth understanding of Jira's core functionality, plugins, and API integration.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Experience documenting processes using Confluence and managing data in Excel.
- Jira certification is an advantage.
