Key Responsibilities :
Analyze and document detailed business and functional requirements related to insurance claims processes.
- Drive operational improvements in claims systems by identifying business needs and supporting the testing and implementation phases.
- Collaborate closely with test engineers to design effective test scenarios and facilitate defect triage.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for process improvement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor claims operations effectively.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives within the claims function.
- Develop business cases and align stakeholders on project goals, scope, and benefits.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of insurance claims lifecycle, including policy verification, claim registration, adjudication, settlement, and closure.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to claims processing.
Qualifications and Skills :
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, specifically focused on end-to-end claims processing.Strong understanding of insurance claims lifecycle and related systems.Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.Hands-on experience collaborating with QA / testing teams for scenario design and defect management.Proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, and dashboard development tools.Familiarity with automation tools and digital initiatives in insurance operations.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.(ref : iimjobs.com)
