Job Title : C&I Lead – Solar Sales Vertical

About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented professional to lead our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Sales Vertical . This leadership role will focus on scaling rooftop and open-access solar business across India, with end-to-end responsibility for business development, client management, project coordination, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in rooftop and open-access C&I solar markets.
- Business Development :
- Identify, evaluate, and close new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients.
- Client & Stakeholder Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Project Coordination :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, execution) for feasibility assessment, pricing, proposals, and delivery of projects.
- Regulatory & Market Intelligence :
- Stay updated on policy, regulatory developments, and market trends to advise clients and inform strategic direction.
- Commercial Structuring :
- Lead commercial negotiations and structure viable solar energy solutions (CAPEX / OPEX / RESCO / PPA models) tailored to client needs.
- Performance Monitoring :
- Track sales metrics, prepare periodic performance reports, and suggest corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education :Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Power or related fields)MBA in Renewable Energy or equivalent is preferredCertification in Renewable Energy Business Development is a plusExperience :12+ years of overall experience in the solar / renewable energy sectorMinimum 5 years in senior leadership, business development, or sales roles within C&I solar verticalsProven track record of closing large-scale rooftop and open-access solar dealsKey Competencies :
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and solutionsDeep understanding of regulatory and policy landscape in India (CEA, DISCOMs, Open Access, Net Metering)Excellent negotiation and communication skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a passion for clean energyAnalytical and strategic thinkingTeam leadership and cross-functional collaborationWhat We Offer :
