We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in managing and improving production processes within a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership to ensure that production systems operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire production lifecycle, from planning and execution to quality control and process optimization.

This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong engineering acumen, and has a proven track record of implementing best practices in production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Control : Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while meeting quality standards.
• Process Optimization : Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
• Equipment & Machinery Management : Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment. Ensure machines operate at optimal performance with minimal downtime.
• Quality Assurance : Work closely with quality control teams to maintain high product standards. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects or failures.
• Safety & Compliance : Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Promote a culture of workplace safety and conduct regular safety audits.
• Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor production staff, providing technical guidance and training to enhance workforce capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with R&D, procurement, supply chain, and maintenance teams to align production with business goals and customer requirements.
• Cost Management : Monitor production costs, analyze variances, and implement strategies for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Capacity Planning : Assess production capabilities and make recommendations for scaling operations, including investments in new technologies, tools, or processes.
• Data-Driven Decision Making : Collect and analyze production data, generate performance reports, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Project Management : Lead process improvement and expansion projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and automation tools to drive innovation.
