Design & Development engineer

Job descriptionDesign and develop exterior trim components (trims, tailgates, spoilers) from concept to production. Create and validate 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using CATIA. Conduct feasibility studies, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up for robust design. Collaborate with styling, BIW, manufacturing, and suppliers for design integration. Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and timing (QCT) targets. Support DFM / DFA, tooling feasibility, and resolve design issues during development. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. 3–7 years of experience in exterior trim design & development. Strong skills in CATIA V5, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM / DFA . Good understanding of OEM standards & development lifecycle. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
