About the role
Our day therapy unit is looking for nurses with a background of experience in oncology and / or haematology, or registered nurses with other specialist backgrounds looking to move into the field of cancer. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for the administration of chemotherapy and supportive treatments, education of treatment side effects and the effective strategies for the management of these side effects.
Working alongside a growing team of nurses in our Day Therapy unit, you'll have the opportunity to join a team that embraces "team nursing" and free-flowing communication. Working in a facility is state-of-the-art and new, you'll really have the opportunity to provide our patients with exceptionally high standards of care, while being a part of the growth and development of the unit. You will be supported by a team of senior staff including nurse specialists, clinical nurse educator and oncology nurse practitioner.
