Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Hospitality Services at Kumaraguru Institutions. This role demands a strategic thinker with operational expertise to ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across all campus hospitality offerings, including food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, forecast, and oversee the procurement and delivery of food and beverage services across the institution.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
- Lead and manage back-of-house operations, including team coordination, conflict resolution, and performance optimization.
- Manage end-to-end operational planning including cost control, pricing strategies, and workforce scheduling.
- Maintain and monitor all operational schedules such as cleaning rosters, shift plans, and staff deployment in an organized and efficient manner.
- Oversee vendor management — from onboarding and agreement preparation to routine inspections and feedback reporting.
- Participate in vendor meetings and collaborate to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards.
- Liaise with management on any additional responsibilities or special assignments as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations or food services management, preferably in an institutional or large-scale setup.Strong leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of delivering high-quality guest experiences.Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.Sound knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational cost control.Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations within the hospitality industry.Proficiency in vendor relationship management and service quality assurance.
