The Events Project Manager role plays a pivotal part in orchestrating our global Awards program. We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead the planning and execution of this prestigious initiative.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for each award cycle.
- Manage the nominations process, coordinate judging logistics, and oversee the awards ceremony production.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure seamless execution, work with the Marketing Lead to align outreach campaigns, and support PR efforts and social media initiatives.
- Act as liaison between stakeholders, including partner organizations, sponsors, and Advisory Board members, and maintain positive relationships with sponsors.
- Track expenses against budget, coordinate sponsorship invoicing and ticketing revenue, and monitor financial performance.
- Produce regular status reports for senior leadership and document processes and lessons learned after each cycle.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification is an asset.5+ years of experience managing complex events or award programs end-to-end, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.Familiarity with technology or AI industries is strongly preferred; understanding of AI governance or technology policy is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives, and strong networking abilities.Exceptional planning and multi-tasking skills, proficiency with project management tools, and budgeting software.Able to travel internationally for key events and willing to work occasional evenings or weekends around ceremonies.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on our organization.
