Territory Sales Manager
1. Effectively manage the distribution channel & optimize sales in the territory & actively manage the relationships with all the channel partners by regularly doing market visits
2. Conduct a market mapping exercise to analyze the region's market potential and ensure the brand is well penetrated by having an optimum mix of distributors & direct retailers.
3. Expanding the dealer infrastructure and appointing new channel partners in untapped markets and ensuring volume and value growth in the given territory.
4. Meeting the market share targets of Voltas Air Cooler brand in the given territory.
5. Analysis of third-party agency reports (GfK Nielsen) and primary sources to understand competition strategies & work out countermeasures.
6. Regular market visits to the retail counters to understand the feedback on product, pricing, promotion & service by end consumers and recommendations on how to improve it.
7. Actively optimize the rebate schemes offered to the channel partners to meet the company's profitability targets.
8. Enhancing brand visibility and recall through regular campaigns in association with the marketing department.
9. Ensuring the channel partners adhere to the payment terms of sales and reduce exposure to receivables.
10. Ensure proper product display and visibility along with placement of on-product marketing material (crowner, wobbler, product stickers, etc.)
11. Ensure all the channel partners have an adequate no. of brochures and in-shop branding material (standees, consoles etc.)
12. Work with the channel partners to create customer pull & facilitate secondary sales.
Preferrable Experience in the Air Cooler industry (Symphony, Kenstar, Bajaj, Usha)
